The greatest distinction given to a Greek olive oil at the finals, in all of the 12 years of the Argentinian Olivinus International Competition, one of the highest ranking and most important competitions in Latin America and in the Southern hemisphere countries in general, proven by the 9 / 10 score given to Olivinus by the international ranking system EVOOWorld Ranking.

A greater difficulty for Greek olive oils comes from the fact that the olive oils from the Southern hemisphere are fresh, almost days old, compared to ours that are nearly 1 year old already.

The Olivinus International Olive Oil Competition 2019 took place at Mendoza, Argentina in early September, with participations from 194 olive oil companies, from 18 olive oil producing countries.

At the same time, our organic “Agourelaio” was honoured at the finals by the group of children's olive oil tasters, between the ages of 8-16, at the international competition Olivinus in Argentina with the highest distinction "Selected by Ninos / SELECT by Kids", among the best olive oils in the competition, also the only Greek olive oil awarded in this category.

Sakellaropoulos organic farms participated with 8 olive oils, and were honored with 8 major distinctions, acquiring very high scores and advancing to the finals of the Olivinus International Competition 2019.

It is the first time in the 12 years since the beginning of the Olivinus competition that a Greek company and Greek olive oils have been honored with so many and so important awards, especially the best olive oil in its category.

These major awards constitute the 128th international award for Sakellaropoulos organic farms, a unique record for a Greek single-estate producer of organic olives and olive oil.
