Sakellaropoulos Organic Evoos Tasting at Savantes 2014

Good scores for their taste and aroma were collected by the four extra virgin organic olive oils of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms from the professional tasting reviews of evoos, SAVANTES 2014, which took place from September 24 to 26 in Toledo, Spain.

Special tasters participated in the tasting and this is the first time that Sakellaropoulos olive oils are evaluated at such an event in Spain.

"FYLLIKON FIRST HARVEST ORGANIC"
Style: fine
Aromas of fresh herbs, parsley and tomato on the grill. Flavors of dried oregano, dried herbs and tea with a creamy texture. Slight bitterness. Finish with mild heat radish and walnuts. Balanced and harmonious taste.

Commercial evaluation: Culinary uses in dishes of delicate flavors, such as fish, desserts and light salads. It would be interesting in ice cream with figs and peanuts.

 

"AGOURELAIO EARLY HARVEST ORGANIC EVOO"

Style: fine
Aromas of green and dry herbs with a hint of chicory bitterness and radish heat on the palate. Finish with creamy nuts, such as walnuts, and a bitter taste of unripe artichoke. A balanced and harmonious oil.

Commercial evaluation: Culinary uses in dishes with delicate flavors, such as fish, soups, grilled vegetables, sweets and light salads.



ARMONIA MONOVARIETAL ORGANIC EVOO

Style: fine
Flavor: Aromas of dried herbs, melon and nuts. Slight taste of radishes and bitterness of unripe artichoke on the palate. Lightly peppery taste and finish of sweet nuts. A balanced and harmonious oil.
Commercial evaluation: Culinary uses in dishes of delicate flavors, such as fish, desserts and light salads. It would be interesting in ice cream with figs and peanuts.
