An unprecedented international distinction, with 11 awards in 11 participations of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms from Sparta, Laconia, took place at the LONDON International Olive Oil Competition 2020 (LONDON IOOC 2020).
It was held in the United Kingdom and specifically in the city of London, from 18 to 21 June 2020. This international competition has very high quality selection and award criteria for olive oils, where very strict evaluation standards are applied based on the tasting methods set by the International Olive Oil Council and is highly ranked in the EVOO World Ranking.
The tasting of olive oils in LONDON IOOC 2020 is done by the method of blind tasting by expert oil panel tasters of international prestige.
The degree of difficulty is complemented by the great global competition but also mainly by the many participations, which for 2020 exceeded 650 olive oils from around the world and from 25 olive oil producing countries such as France, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, USA, Argentina, Turkey, Israel, etc. with a very high level of quality.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms participated at the London International Competition LONDON IOOC 2020 with eleven (11) specialized organic - gourmet olive oils, and were given scores that exceeded 96%.
It is an unprecedented number of awards for a Greek oil producer in an international competition, the achievement of 11 awards in equal participations, reaching the unique 100% as a percentage, with 2 platinum, 4 gold and 5 silver awards of high prestige and recognition.

This unique and rare award in London with the eleven (11) major awards internationally, marks a very high level distinction in the field of olive growing for our country Greece, our land Sparta, Laconia and the course of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms for the past 28 years.
At the same time, it is a special honor for the organic, Single Estate olive products of a Greek olive grower to be recognized in the biggest global competitions for their high quality, for their innovation in production, their unique taste and wonderful combinations, while being considered among the top internationally.
These 11 major awards, at LONDON International Olive Oil Competition 2020, constitute the unique number of 175 international awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms worldwide, a record number for a Greek oil producer of exclusively his own olive products (Single Estate producer).
