A very high and prestigious distinction for a Greek olive oil producer with eight (8) awards in eight (8) participations was noted in Tokyo, Japan, for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the famous international olive oil competition JAPAN Olive Oil Prize 2020.
It took place in Japan and specifically in the city of Tokyo, from 11 to 14 June 2020. This international competition implements very strict evaluation standards based on the tasting methods set by the International Olive Oil Council.
It is ranked very high in the EVOO World Ranking and the tasting of olive oils in the JAPAN Olive Oil Prize Competition 2020 is carried out by expert oil panel tasters of international prestige with the method of blind tasting.
Hundreds of olive oils from 16 oil-producing countries such as Spain, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Tunisia, the United States, Turkey, Israel, etc. participated with a very high level of quality.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms participated in the International JAPAN Olive Oil Prize 2020 competition with eight (8) specialized organic - gourmet olive oils, collecting scores that exceeded 96% and were honored with a total of eight (8) prizes for their olive oils.
It is an exceptional number of awards, reaching the unique 100% as a percentage for a Greek oil producer in an international competition with 7 gold and 1 silver medal of great recognition.
It should be noted at the same time that the olive oil SYLLEKTIKON Gourmet Evoo was named the best in its category and Best Flavored olive oil, with a score that exceeds 96/100.

These eight (8) major international awards, at the JAPAN Olive Oil Prize Competition 2020 in Tokyo, Japan, constitute the number of 193 international awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, a record number for a Greek olive oil producer of exclusively their own products (Single Estate producer).
