A unique international distinction, with 13 Major Golden Awards in 11 olive oil participations for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, from Sparta Laconia, took place at the Olivinus International Olive Oil Competition 2020.
A unique distinction for Greece, our area Laconia and also for a Greek olive oil producer, at the 14th edition of OLIVINUS International Olive Oil Competition 2020, the final major olive oil competition of 2020.
The Olivinus International Olive Oil Competition 2020 took place at Mendoza, Argentina in early October, with participations from 176 olive oil companies, from 19 olive oil producing countries. It is now one of the most recognized olive oil tasting competitions worldwide, having a high degree of difficulty, proven by the 9 / 10 score given to Olivinus by the international ranking system EVOO World Ranking.
Olivinus is now the most important competition in Latin America and in the Southern hemisphere countries in general.
A greater difficulty comes from the fact that the olive oils from the Southern hemisphere are fresh, almost days old, compared to ours that are nearly 1 year old already.
The 13 major awards and the top scores that were awarded are as follows:
1 Mejor Saborizado Ex Aequo 2020 award with a score of 98/100, 6 Gran Prestige Gold awards with score higher than 93/100, 3 Prestige Gold awards with score higher than 85/100, 2 Oro Gold awards and 1 honorary distinction for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms with the Premio Diseño Serie de AOVE 2020 award.
Especially for Majestic Blend evoo, which was declared as the best olive oil in its category, with the Mejor Saborizado Ex Aequo 2020 award, with a score of 98/100.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms participated with 11 of their olive oils, and were honored with 13 major distinctions and extremely high scores. In detail:

These 13 major awards constitute the 221 international awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, a unique record for a Greek single-estate producer of organic olives and olive oil.
