A historic and prestigious distinction with Greek and Spartan colors was noted in Monte Carlo, Monaco, for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the recognized international olive oil competition Masters of Olive Oil International Competition 2023.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms are the major winners of Monte Carlo, awarded with the 1st and 2nd place overall in the gourmet olive oils of the famous competition, while at the same time they were awarded 2 platinum, 4 gold, 1 bronze award with 9 awards in total.
It is a historic moment for Greece, Sparta and the Greek olive sector in general, to achieve the 1st and 2nd place of the competition, a fact that had not been achieved until now by a Greek olive producer.
The 7th edition of the competition took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco, 4 - 20 May 2023, with great interest from the international olive sector. Hundreds of olive oils from many olive-producing countries with a very high level of quality, coming from 4 continents, participated.
The internationally recognized Masters of Olive Oil's team of judges comes from many different countries and is made up of world-renowned and experienced tasters who have judged olive oils solely on the basis of the International Olive Council (COI) method.
It should be noted that the international competition of Monte Carlo is the only global competition that has eleven (11) of its total judges, with the status of certified and qualified panel leader, from recognized organizations such as the International Olive Council (IOC), as well as MASAF, AIFO and MIPAF.
After the preliminary analysis of each olive oil, the panel of specialized judges conducted an individual evaluation of each olive oil sample in five phases, in order to reach the final ranking of the olive oil finalists and the overall score.
On 10/06/2023, the announcement of the results and the award ceremony took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with the conquest of the 1st and 2nd overall place for the best Flavored olive oils of the competition, a fact that is an unprecedented milestone for the Greek and international olive growing.
At the same time, they were awarded 2 platinum, 4 gold and 1 bronze award with 9 awards in total.

It is a special honor for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms to have their specialized olive products recognized in the largest global competitions with judges of recognized value and to reach the top in international competitions of such level.
At the same time, these nine (9) major international awards at the famous Masters of Olive Oil 2023 competition in Monaco, complete the unique number of 756 international awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms worldwide, a record number for a Greek olive producer.
