The international competition of the USA is an innovative concept for evaluating and showcasing olive oils that are at the highest quality levels worldwide, aiming to present them to American and international markets looking for exceptional quality olive oils.
The annual edition of the international competition USIOOC 2024 was held in Miami, Florida of the United States of America, from 18 to 22 June, with great interest from the international olive sector. Hundreds of olive oils from many olive producing countries participated with a very high level of quality.
UNITED STATES IOOC is officially recognized by the EVOOWR global ranking of olive oils, for the standards and tasting methods applied.
The tasting of olive oils is carried out by specialized olive oil tasters (expert panel tasters) of international prestige and from many countries of the world, exclusively with the blind tasting method, based on extremely strict criteria.
After the initial analysis, the panel of expert judges conducts an individual assessment of each olive oil sample in continuous phases, in order to conclude at the final ranking of the olive oils and the overall score.
