ITQI 2016-SUPERIOR TASTE AWARDS-----MILENIES olives-----2 GOLD STARS

The International Taste and Quality Institute in Brussels, is a top organization whose goal is the tasting and evaluation of high quality food and drink worldwide.

The ITQI SUPERIOR TASTE AWARD is an international seal of quality in taste, which is given by 120 chosen Michelin star awarded chefs and sommeliers.

The 120 panel judges of ITQI, come from 17 different countries and are members of prestigious organizations in Europe such as Maîtres Cuisiniers of France, Académie Culinaire de France, Hellenic Chef's Association, Academy of Culinary Arts, Euro-Toques, Federazione Italiana Cuochi, Nordic Chefs Association, Associaciones des Cocineros de España, World Master Chefs Society, Verband der Köche Deutschlands and the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (ASI) for beverages.

The evaluation took place in Brussels from the 17th until  the 19^th of April and Sakellaropoulos Estates were honored with the 2 Gold Star Award, thus receiving a high score for their superior gourmet product

This award is a great distinctive honor for us, since it is given by top professional tasters chosen by the most prestigious associations of chefs and sommeliers, for a product that is very particular and difficult in its production and at the same time very rewarding for a producer to have formal acknowledgment of the totality in balance of taste from the evaluation given by the professional judges at ITQI.

For Milenies table olives, it is the first international award and constitutes the 44^th award in total from international awards for Sakellaropoulos Estates during the last 5 years.
